About us.....

We too have HURT, have HEALED, and want to HELP.

Dust Off Your Tiara began in 2004 as a ministry for hurting women~ which includes all of us at some time or another. I wanted to do something to bless and encourage women and bring refreshing, renewal, and restoration to their lives........and PAMPER THEM! Like the ministry name says, the focus is for us to discover the princess within, that we are truly daughters of the Most High King. We do a yearly "Signature Event" in December, when all of us girls are typically doing everything for others and little for ourselves. We pamper God's daughters with a gourmet meal, goodie bags, doorprizes, inspirational speakers, their very own tiara, and lots of girl time fun! We started with 56 women our first year and have grown to 440 women for this year's event. We've been multiplying! And this year we also began an outreach called Alabaster Girls which is based on the story in Luke 7 of the Bible where the sinful woman that the religious were judging, but who had been forgiven of much, loved much by washing Jesus' feet with her tears, drying them with her hair, and using the very expensive perfume in her alabaster box (her life's savings) to anoint Jesus' feet. She gave all she had and loved big because of what God had done for her. We want to give and love big like that as well. In May this year, Alabaster Girls began taking gifts filled with fun girly stuff to women working in our area strip clubs as well as other women God has put on our hearts to bless with the message that they are "loved beyond measure, daughters of the Most High King." It's a simple way of letting them know that they are loved unconditionally and that we are here for them should they need our prayers and support. It has been an amazing journey! We are truly the ones being blessed! :) We also visit "safe homes" and transitional living facilities for abused women or those coming out of crisis situations and bless them with gifts as well. Again, what a blessing for us. It's been overwhelming. Doors are opening for us continually with more opportunities to share hope with hurting women and we are so thankful for each opportunity to share the true love of Christ. We are also so grateful to have the support of our churches and a wonderful prayer and mentoring team backing us up. We say a huge thank you and God bless you to them! God bless you as well and thanks for taking the time to learn more about us!
